We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill our full-time opening for a Director of Rehabilitation.
A successful Director of Rehabilitation will:
Ensure efficient and effective operations Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor Provide therapy services as needed.
Be a licensed therapist or license eligible in New York State, where employed Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting Have an understanding of CMS/Medicare and Medicaid guidelines and Dept of Health regulations
Qualifications:

S.
or higher degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy The ideal candidate will have experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department and will hold Physical Therapy licensure.
Ideal experience of 2-4 years All levels of experience and licensure are encouraged to apply.
HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time exempt position.
